Today's weather;
Samui's sky is dark grey and it has been raining pretty much all night and all morning. Current temp at 24.5C.
I'm scheduled to be on the 09.00 ferry to Donsak, to start an IDC tomorrow in Koh Lanta, during which time frame 3 meter waves are predicted and lots of rain and strong wind. The wind is supposed to reside by tomorrow but the rain is to intensify tomorrow with an absolute pour down during Monday!
By Thursday things should've calmed down and come Friday the sun should be out in full blast again.

Yesterday was almost non stop rain, there were just a few moments of response to the rain. Samui had 87mm of rain yesterday! Not bad for a day when the sun should be beaming and the aircon should be on full blast! Max temp reached 26.7C
The overall road conditions are relatively good, plenty of flash flooding but as soon as the rain stops, the floods recede rather quickly.
