Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 2nd June, 2015

Today's weather;

There are a few clouds over Koh Samui but also plenty of blue sky to enjoy. Current temp at 10am on Koh Samui is 31.4C

It's a late update, due to bad internet connection down here in Dauin in the Philippines but we are enjoying a nice blue sky here with a current temp at 11am local time of 32.5C and a light breeze to keep it cool.

Yesterday saw a very hot day around Koh Samui with a max temp of 35.8C

The forecast for Samui island is looking fairly good. Some cloud cover is drifting in and out over the island and chances of tropical showers are becoming less.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 4th June, 2014

Today's weather;

On Koh Samui there was overcast this morning going hand in hand with some light rain. Current temp around 10.30am is 30.1C

Right now I'm in Dauin, Philippines, back after almost two years and internet was down and just got back on again, hence this late update. It's sunny but partially cloudy with some thunder in the background. Current temp at around 11.30am local time is 31C

There's a PADI IE going on right now which will finish tomorrow. After that I will be starting to make my way back to Samui!

Yesterday saw at times a very cloudy sky over Samui, but it remained dry with a max temp of 36.1C

The forecast predicts mainly cloudy skis for the next 7 days and there's still some wind predicted tomorrow, but nothing like it was predicted a few days ago.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 5th August, 2012

Today's weather;

Koh Samui is about to heat up, this early in the morning. A blue sky and plenty of sunshine are out and about as we're talking. Current temp at 7am is 26.3C

It's my last morning in Dauin, around noon I fly out to Manila and from there I travel onward to Subic Bay for some more diving and I've got a side mount course lined up to participate in. Current temp at 8am local time is 28C under a cloudy sky.

Yesterday saw a hot and sunny day around Koh Samui. Max temp reached 35C

The next 7 days look good, receding win and just a rare chance of a tropical shower. Enjoy the sunshine!

Today's weather;

Koh Samui is gearing up for a warm day. It's sunny already with just a little bit of overcast. Current temp at 7am is 27.2C

In Dauin it looks like the sun is coming out to play today. Yesterday we had a dry and fairly sunny day in Dumaguete. Current temp at 8am local time is 28C

The PADI IE went well yesterday, all 3 candidates cruised through the first two classroom parts and today is going to be a wet day. Updates later on my dive blog.

Today's weather;

Koh Samui is a little bit overcast but it looks like the sun will be out later today. Current temp at 7am is around 26C

It's also Asanha Bucha day, a big Buddhist holiday.

In Dauin we have a second sunny day in a row and with a day off ahead of me, it looks like I will be able to dive at Apo island. Current temp at 7.30am local time is 26C

Yesterday saw a day with lots of strong wind around Koh Samui but also a very warm day. Max temp reached around 33.5C

The forecast is looking better by the day for the next 7 days. The wind is dropping severely although tropical showers are still a possibility.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 1st August, 2012

Today's weather;

The sky over Koh Samui is nice and blue again with ideally plenty of sun ahead. Current temp at 7am is 27.2C

In Dauin it looks a little bit on the up side, yesterday morning started out nice but all day long we had strong wind and on and off heavy showers. This morning we had a very strong wind but it's slowing down now and lo and behold, the sun is out for the time being! Current temp at 8am local time is 26C

Last night I went with some candidates to Dumaguete for dinner, that's the 'big' city and it was a nice change of pace.

We completed the IDC here yesterday, by the way!

Today's weather;

The sky over Koh Samui is nice and filled with sunshine. Current temp at 7am is 27.3C

In Dauin it's starting to look slightly better, for a change! It's still very cloudy but not as grey anymore and the sun is trying hard to peak through. It's still very windy though. Yesterday we only had some rain during the very early morning and the rest of the day was dry, just a few hard showers during the night again. Current temp at 8am local time

Today's weather;

Koh Samui is enjoying a fairly blue sky this morning and it looks like it will be a sunny and hot day with maybe a shower in the evening. Current temp 7am is 25C

In Dauin on the other hand, we still have grey skies and rain. This morning three strong showers came down already and yesterday it was a also raining a lot. Apparently this should be the last day of a tropical depression moving over the Philippines. Current temp at 8am local time is 26C

Koh Samui is cloudy this morning and it looks like rain will come along later today. Current temp at 7am is 26.1C

In Dauin, Philippines we still have grey clouds and rain. The morning is dry right now but yesterday and last night aw plenty of rain. Current temp at 8am local time is 27C

Yesterday saw a nice morning and sunny afternoon around Samui but with some heavy rain during the early evening. Max temp reached 33C

The forecast shows today being the last nice day for a week, with progressively stronger wind coming up each day, culminating in Thursday and Friday with very strong wind. Rain will accompany the days of next week.

Light overcast is Samui's part this morning but it looks like the sun will be coming out later. Current temp at 7am is 27.2C

In Dauin it's raining this morning and the sky is fairly grey and apparently we got a storm brewing up for the next 3 days. Current temp at 8am local time is 27C

Yesterday we also had rain during the afternoon.

The forecast is looking good, although there's a build up of wind, until Wednesday, than the wind is unleashed and storm like conditions seem to prevail with rainy periods.

Today's weather;

The wind picked up on Koh Samui this morning, as predicted. It's sunny though and another hot day seems to be in the making. Current temp at 7am is 27.1C

Today the dive site at Sail Rock is blocked off and tomorrow Chumpon Pinnacle near Koh Tao due a visit of Princess Sirivannavari, a daughter of the prince.

In Dauin we have overcast and around 26C at 8am local Philippines time.

Yesterday was a very hot day around Koh Samui with a max temp of 34C. My son looked like a lobster after having played all day long in the pool with my sisters family!
