Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 17th November, 2013

Today's weather;

It's nice and sunny at the moment on Koh Samui although that may change later today. Current temp at 7am is nice and cool with 24.8C

Right now I'm on Phuket, where it's partly cloudy and dry with a current temp of 25C
Just finished a 9km run at the Prince of Songkla University here.

Yesterday saw plenty of rain on Samui and also on the way over to Phuket. Max temp reached 29C

After the race in Phuket with Peter, another Samui runner

The forecast predicts plenty of rain today around Samui which should stay on for the remainder of the wee with a high on Thursday and Friday.

Don't forget to use my Camille's Samui hotel recommendation blog and my Camille's Thailand hotel recommendation blog for all your hotel bookings on Koh Samui and around Thailand. By doing so, you will support my blog. Thanks folks!

Thank you for posting about the weather. My husband and I are planning on travelling to Koh Samui in 10 days but if it would be too rainy we would change and go to Phuket. Is it possible to get into the sea now? I read sometimes it doesn't rain but it is still a problem to swim...thank you again so much! I will check your blog everyday to see how the weather is going. Hope we will be able to make it to Samui after all :-)

Hi Nurit,

At the moment the ocean in front of Chaweng is still ok but once the wind will pick up it may be too dangerous to sue the Eastern ocean side of Samui.
