Crashed Bangkok Air plane to be used as an artificial reef

The saga of the crashed Bangkok Air plane in 2009, seems to have come to an end. The plane has been moved to Nathon now and a Thai initiative is now planning on sinking and (hopefully anchoring it well enough to prevent the plane from being swept away by a current) using it as an artificial reef near Koh Tong Krut.

The remains of the plane have been repainted

This should all be happening come this 20th October. Good luck to the organizers and I truly hope this will work out just fine and there will be an artificial reef soon!
