Today's weather;
Light overcast is Samui's part this morning but it looks like the sun will be coming out later. Current temp at 7am is 27.2C
In Dauin it's raining this morning and the sky is fairly grey and apparently we got a storm brewing up for the next 3 days. Current temp at 8am local time is 27C
Yesterday we also had rain during the afternoon.

Yesterday saw overcast pretty much all day long around Koh Samui with an occasional burst of sunshine. Max temp reached 31.2C
The forecast is looking good, although there's a build up of wind, until Wednesday, than the wind is unleashed and storm like conditions seem to prevail with rainy periods.

I am wondering if you'd be able to share your local and I'm sure wonderful knowledge of the weather in Koh Samui. I'm hoping to visit at the end of September this year
for 10 days or so, the British brochures and agents make a big deal of the rain levels there and how it can be very wet.
Is it really bad that time of year? Work commitments preclude me coming at another time.

Thanks for your inquiry. In September the weather is usually rather nice in the Gulf of Thailand around Koh Samui.

Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.
