Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 7th October, 2011

Today's weather;

Bangkok is waking up under an almost blue sky and looks like it may get warm here! Current temp at 6.30pm is around 26C
Today we will be on our way shortly to get some legal papers legalized and than hopefully off to the Dutch Embassy.

Samui has a nice forecast with hardly any wind and plenty of sunshine for the next 7 days.

Asoke crossing on Sukhumvit road, near our hotel

Yesterday saw a warm and dry day in Bangkok and max temp reached 34.2C
Upon arriving we got lost for an hour, really near to our hotel but at last we got out of the loophole we found ourselves in and all was good.

We had a great dinner at the Nassir el Masry restaurant and I was pleased to see that my wife and the children enjoyed the Egyptian food. A real treat!

Although the situation around Bangkok is critical at parts due to flooding, we haven't encountered any problems (yet?) and the forecast is that if there will be floods in the city, they should be at another part of town.
