Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 15th November, 2010

Today's weather;

Samui is experiencing an overcast sky and a bit of early morning rain. It's a mix of constant drizzle to rain but nothing as torrential as during early November. Current temp at 7am is 24.4C

Yesterday saw a nice and dry day with occasional sunshine and also lot of threatening, (dark) grey clouds as well. Around 2am I woke up from hard rain and thunder and it looks like it rained all night long, the total count this morning was 45mm. Max temp reached 29.7C

Tomorrow I'm off to Kao Lak for my next IDC adventure, immediately followed by an added program on Koh Lanta.

Hey Camille..
Just want to let you know that I've been following your blog on Samui for the last month..
We will be coming to Samui on 18th of november...and we are soo looking forward to it!
Don't know if you are Dutch..we are..(living in Belgium) so I'm writing in English.
We will stay in Lamai, resort Berghof...very nice and quiet..
Thanks for keeping us up with the weather.

Hi Lique,

hello there, i was hoping to come to ko samui for a week or 2 on thursday and have been following your blog for the past 2 weeks. it seems the weather has been pretty bad recently and was hoping you could advise me on how bad the weather is currently i mean other than the helpful information you have allready given, is the rain constant or like what it usually is (rain for an hour or 2 then sunny again) i am also speaking to tour operators in BKK but some say its fine and some say don't go.. im a bit confused!!!! im sure you have loads of emails like this so sorry to be a pain.. hope to hear back from you soon,

love shell :O)

Hi Shelley,

The weather is turning for the better right now and the torrential rains have stopped and gone away! Now we have daily monsoon showers, like they are common this time of the year with plenty of sunshine in-between at the moment.

In my opinion you're going to be fine since the forecast looks nice and favorable.

Hope this helps for now.
