13th November, 2007

Today's weather;

A mainly blue sky with a shining sun in it. Big white clouds are located over the ocean bit the island seems almost cloud free. Current temp at 7am is 23.8C.

Yesterday was a lovely day, sunshine all day long, enough to easily get a sun burn. Max temp reached 30.3C.

I am coming over to Samui Spa for a detox programme for a week on the 25th November 2007. I have been reading about the flash floodings and terrible weather and am a little concerned. I don't mind if it rains but was hoping for a bit of sun-we didn't get a summer really in the UK this year!

The point of the week isn't to lye on the beach, but is it going to be miserable (from what you can tell?)- i don't know if i should switch this part of the trip till the 7th Dec (last week)????

I really appreciate your comments and time

Hi Laura,

Thanks for your request.

Right now the weather has been great for 5 days in a row. It is however the rainy season here and there's no guarantee on how much longer this weather will hold, it's possible that we will have some rain again.

It's difficult to predict how the weather will develop a week from now, but you can use some of the links on my blog, like Windguru and accuweather, which give fairly reliable information.

Hope this helps.

Hi Camille

Thanks so much for getting back to me- i think we will go for it. Its the experience of the detox which is most important and i guess you cant do anything about the weather.

Take Care

Hi Laura,

Good on ya!

Hope you will have a good time and that it will stay dry enough to enjoy your trip and detox.
