Today's weather;
Samui is covered under a cloud layer but I would expect some sun possibly today. Current temp at 7am is 26.7C
Same location as I posted two days ago except this picture was taken yesterday
Yesterday saw a fairly nice day around Samui, it started out with cloud cover but at some stages the sun actually came through although for short moments only. Max temp reached 31.5C

My name is vish, and I am from India, I came across your blog on Koh Samui, and the information you have offered is wonderful.
I had never been to Thailand. However I am planning my honeymoon vacation there, that will be in third week of Dec. Though most of my friend have suggested me Koh samui. I have few doubts about the weather in Dec 3rd week onwards. My other option is Phuket. Any information or advice over this is highly appreciated.

Around the third week of December, the weather on Samui is usually good, that’s when the rainy season is over.
Please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, left hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.
Phuket in general has better weather over all during December although after mid December Koh Samui can usually hold up with the conditions on Phuket.
