Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 12th October, 2016
The sky over Koh Samui is partially cloudy this morning with a light breeze and it looks like it may be a nice and sunny and warm day today, in contrast to the prediction for today, which states that it should be very cloudy with chances of rain. Current temp at 7am is 28C
At Kata on Phuket it has been dry for a change and we have a cloudy sky with blue spots in it, very similar to yesterday afternoon. During our dives we had lovely weather and no rough seas, with just some small waves on the way back to Phuket. Today is one more day of diving before I head back home to Koh Samui tomorrow. Current temp at 7am is 27,8C
The Meh Guan Ihm statue once more, from a different angle this time, at Wat Plai Laem or Wat Laem Suwannaram. One of the most fascinating statues on the island in my opinion and probably the most photographed statue on the island, represented by the most amount of pictures on this blog. I count myself hapy that we live around the corner of this statue and the Wat Plai Laem, which houses more beautiful buildings and statues besides the Meh Guan Ihm statue.
Yesterday saw a warm but cloudy day and light breeze around Koh Samui with a max temp of 32C
The boulevard at (Cape) Panwa on Phuket, in front of the Phuket Aquarium and the PMBC (Phuket Marine Biological Center), where I visited the latter to learn more about box jelly fish studies and research in Thailand, a very interesting visit about which I will blog soon, once I have a bit more time.
The forecast predicts cloudy skies until the weekend with a light break in the cloud cover after this coming weekend, a light breeze and an occasional shower are also part of the equation, but still no real signs of the monsoon season moving in.
