Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 2nd July, 2013

Today's weather;

There's a bit of a haze in the sky and some clouds are scattered around in Koh Samui's morning sky. Current temp at 7am is 25.7C

Yesterday saw a lovely morning but during the afternoon clouds gathered and around 5pm it started to rain very hard (much needed on the island!) for about half an hour as predicted in my welcome blog post for July yesterday, with some heavy wind going alongside. The wind held on during the evening but the rain stopped. Max temp reached 34.3C

The forecast is now predicting some very strong wind Thursday evening and rain for the next two evenings but over the weekend things calm down and it should be sunny and warm again.

Don't forget to use my Camille's Samui hotel recommendation blog and my Camille's Thailand hotel recommendation blog for all your hotel bookings on Koh Samui and around Thailand. By doing so, you will support my blog. Thanks folks!

Hi Camille,

I’ll be in Koh Samui getting married in a couple weeks and saw on your blog there are three races you’re running? I was just wondering what dates these are?

Also, I was wondering what is the best site for things to do or events in Koh Samui – I am hoping to plan an itinerary for my guests of activities. Hopefully the weather will be good 

Many thanks,
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

Congratulations with your marriage! I hope you will have a fab day!

The three races I will be running this month are 7th in Phun Phin (near Surat Thani town, this is where the railway station is, about 10-15km, pending on where you are), 14th is a 10.5km and half marathon in ‘down town’ Surat Thani and 21st is in ban Nasa, about half an hour away from Surat Thani town. The same day is the Pattaya marathon, half and 10.5km.

Regarding things to do, my blog actually has a few things to show for but not nearly all that one can do or is available on Samui. Not sure if there is just one site with everything listed on Samui.
