Today's weather;
The skies show dark and wet clouds around Koh Samui this morning, just as the forecast predicted. It rained a couple of times already during this young morning and it looks like there will lots of rain today. Current temp at 7am is 27.3C

Yesterday saw a very sunny morning and early afternoon around Koh Samui. Towards the evening cloud formations moved in but it stayed dry until somewhere during the night. Max temp reached 29.3C
The forecast predicts heavy rain today, a lot drier tomorrow but some heavy wind all day long and things go back to normal over the weekend.

My fiance and are are coming to samui next week and the following week 70 of our nearest and dearest are joining us for our wedding!

i know all the info about the seasons/ rain etc and also am very aware of the unpredictability of it in recent years too.
I know its supposed to be very rainy at least until the end of jan. also of course 100% know there is always the chance of rain and we dont care what it is like! its more just knowing what the general talk is about the weather at the moment.
i was wondering whether you thought its going to be stormy and wet for a lot of feb this year? i thought that the best thing to do was ask the biggest pro there is! it would just really help us know how serious we should be about reveiwing our plans for the big day.
camille i really appreciate your thoughts! im sure its a silly set of questions... for i know it can rain but if the talk is that i will continue then we can make the proper arrangements

Hi Anna,
It’s indeed difficult to say what the weather is going to be like, recently it has been very nice but today it rained and it’s rather cloudy. After the weekend it’s supposed to be good again.
Please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, left hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.
I can also recommend keeping an eye out on Windguru.
