Floods in Southern Thailand

Floods in Southern Thailand

The floods just keep in coming thick and fast. Within a year we had floods on Samui and Southern provinces. October saw some serious flood North of Bangkok which caught the international headlines but Samui escaped these floods.

Now the South has been hit again by floods, the photo gallery above gives an impression.

The city of Surat Thani and various Southern provinces have flash floods.

So far Koh Samui is doing fine, there are rough seas but island life hasn't been affected. The prognosis is that after tomorrow things should slow down when the rain is supposed to stop.
