Today's weather;
A cloudy sky with plenty of blue spots has welcomed this new day over Samui with a current temp at 7 am of 26.8C.
Yesterday saw dry but not that much sun. Max temp reached 30.5C. Today it's full moon, for some here that means party time at the Full Moon party.
After typhoon Ketsana has left the building, the Philippines are now undergoing the power of Parma. Good luck to them.

We are a small family heading for Koh Samui 22 of october. Planning to do some islands during 2-3 weeks. Would you reconcider going to Samui because of rain or are there better choices of islands this time of year? thanks in advance for your reply
Hi Ulf,
The end of October and beginning of November can be tricky weather wise for the Gulf of Thailand and Samui. If you don't pre book, play it by ear otherwise it's a bit of a gamble since it's hard to predict when the rainy season starts. I suggest that you have a look in my archives for October and November.
