Today's weather;
It's very cloudy with big and dark clouds in the sky. It rained last night a bit, it's drizzling right now and it definitely looks like more rain today. The wind also picked up. Current temp at 7 am is 24.1C.
For Samui it's good that it's raining today, everything was drying up and turning brown.
Yesterday was hot once more although there were clouds during the afternoon. Max temp reached 31C.

My name is Paul I emailed you a couple of times last year before our visit to samui. We had been to Thailand a few times previously but not to samui.
We loved samui and are due to return early 2010 with our young son of 4yrs. When we came over in 2008 the weather was unusually wet around feb / march time, so we was told. What month do you think would be the most safe to visit samui. I know you cant predict the weather and realise it will only be your opinion. However Its probably worthy.

Good to hear from you again! Last year was wet indeed, in contrast to this year, up till today we had a lovely weather, really hot and sunny. Today it seems that the rain started again!
April and August are usually the best two month to visit Samui, with April also being the hottest month of the year. Have a look at my archives, in general April through to September are good months in general to visit.
