Today's weather;
Another blue sky reigns over Samui this morning with a current temp of 24.2C.
Yesterday was lovely, warm and blue skies with a max temp of 31.2C.
The south of France is currently blanketed in snow, first time I've seen that much here in 20 years. Even the Med coast (Marseille) is white. I'm feeling distinctly envious of your 30 plus degrees right now!
I am coming to Koh Samui in approx. 2 weeks. I will be staying at the Lamai Wanta for 10 days. I enjoy your blog very much and I have been reading it almost daily for some time now. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences about Koh Samui. I am definitely looking forward to eating at Sabeinglae when I am there. Thanks for the tip.
Will you please write me back and tell me what the current tourist climate is like right now on Koh Samui now that the holiday period is over. I am hearing conflicting reports.....but mostly that it is very dead there right now. Also I'd like to know if it is true that it is dangerous to walk on the beaches there at night alone? I am an older gent who will be coming there alone. I live in Southern California. Keep up your good work. It's very informative and great information to have! Thanks,
Thanks for your interest in my blog, it’s appreciated!
Right now Samui is relatively quiet again although not as quiet as it was during November and early December. Regarding walking the beach, it may depend where you walk at night, deserted beaches may not be such a good idea but than again, personally I know only of one case of violence at a beach at night.

You are not the only one. Same thing here in Holland

I’m sure you will enjoy your food at Sabeinglae!
