31st October, 2007

Today's weather;

It's a mix today, dark grey clouds are fighting with the sun for supremacy but at the moment the sun is having the upper hand. Current temp at 7 am is 26.2C

Yesterday was a mixed day, in the morning there was lots of rain and in the afternoon it dried up with a max temp of 29C

Today is the last day of our daughters one month long school holiday, much to the delight of my wife! Due to the bad weather there wasn't that many outdoor options for them so it gets very busy at times with a 2 and a half year old and an almost 5 year old in the house all day.

Hi James,

That sounds pretty cool! Very soon I'll have some more time again and I will be able to post more restaurant and hotel reviews.

Hi,

There was a a lot sunshine today and I've seen a few folks at the ebach with some nice tans, just from today. Mind though, there were also rainy bits, but not as bad as it was a couple of days ago.

The weather forecast for next week is unfortunately not looking that great.

Hi Camille
Thanks for your reply. I'll keep my fingers crossed for better weather in November.Anyhow it should be definately little bit warmer than in Moscow:) By the way what the ocean is like at that time of the year?

Hi Camille
The weather has been lousy on Phuket as well. We have never seen so much rain in a long time! There were some bad landslides in Patong with some buildings being condemned. Needless to say quite a few people are looking for new homes.

Yesterday was the first time in 10 days that we caught a glimpse of the sun and the beaches were packed. Plenty of red lobsters walking around today.

Hope the weather gets better for you guys on Koh Samui.
Take care and wishing you good business!

Hi Artyom,

Haha, it will be warmer than Moscow, that's for sure!

The ocean is warm to start with, but depending on how strong the wind is, it can be choppy. Normally the weather turns better towards mid December.

Hi Chantal,

Funny that you mentione them lobsters, saw a few on Chaweng Beach as well yesterday ;-)

Good luck to you two for some sunny days coming your ways.
