It's cloudy but dry around Koh Samui and it's good to be back home! Current temp at 7am is 26.6C
The South of Thailand where I live, has a strong support for the anti government movement and at the pier in Donsak I saw plenty of visual support, these guys with a t-shirt supporting Suthep Thaugsuban with whistles and an armband
Yesterday saw a dry bit cloudy day with a max temp of 29C
My drive back home was event less although the 44 highway remains interesting, on the way down to Khao Lak last month, 13 motorbikes and 6 cars encountered me on the shoulder of the high way, going against traffic. yesterday wasn't as bad, only 3 motorbikes, 2 saleng (motorbikes with a side car), 3 cars and 2 big trucks came against traffic.
The forecast cleared up and it's looking really good at the moment for the next 7 days. Still a strong wind until the weekend but not much rain and at times it may clear up for some sunshine.

Hi, what site do you recommend for Samui weather forecast? I get very much mixed information online.
I arrive in about ten days, don't mind clouds and some rain, but don't want all rain!
For the next 7 days things are looking good, After that, unfortunately it's a bit early to say anything at the moment.
Is there a site with reasonably reliable forecasts?

If anybody in this world could make reliable weather forecasts, he probably would be the richest person in this world, but I use Wind Guru which you can find a link for at my link Page
I have the utmost confidence in your reports, and read them daily. But they seem to be more retrospective reports than forecasts. Thanks loads!
You must've missed my daily predictions, now if they were accurate, I would be filthy, stinking rich ;-)
