It's very cloudy this morning over Samui and rain is in the air although it's still dry at the moment but with relative strong winds. Current temp at 7am is 26C.
Today, the day following Asarnha Bucha Day is the Buddhist Lent Day, which is known in Thailand as Wan Kao Pansa. Tonight the Wientian ritual where you walk around the temple with a candle is about to happen but the forecasts predict rain around that time.
Yesterday lots of rain were predicted but only a trace materialised. It was overcast all day long though and the max temp went up to the thirties Celsius again, to be precise; 30.3C

Gosh, the news is so bad :( Hope the storm and the rain goes away cause I want to explore the island and the sea there very soon.

It's very strange, the weather was lovely today, not a lot of sunshine, but a nice temperature and in the evening some glimpses of sunshine, a really nice day!

just a very quick mail to say thanks for your Samui blog it's kept me going since Feb while waiting for my holiday in Samui I've read it ever morning before work, but from Thursday I won't need to as I only need to look out the window for the next month :-)
