29th June, 2010

Today's weather;

Once more a cloudy sky is ruling over Samui in the morning. That may soon be over! Current temp at 7am is 26.8C

Yesterday saw overcast pretty much all day but no rain wherever I wentalthough there must've been some pour down last night, looking at the wet spots on the road this morning. Max temp reached 32.7C

The Netherlands football team is now set up to meet Brasil this coming Friday. Oranje seriously needs to turn on the style if they want to progress to the semis!

Groetjes Connie

Hi!
Nice blogg with useful information! We're a couple from Norway that is planning a trip to Ko Samui -possible in july. We're a little conserned about the sun hours per day. We want a sun/bath vacation with a lot of sunshine. Is the last weeks weather normal in Samui now -or is it more cloudy than normal? 1-2 days a week with cloudy skies is ok - but ift there are only 1-2 days a week with sun we might consider to do our Samui trip later (ex april 2011). Appreciate your honest answer!
best regards Oyvind, Norway

Hi Oyvind,

Thanks for checking out my blog.

July can be a bit of hit and miss, right now the forecasts looks nice! April usually has the better weather though.
There will always be sunny days during July but it's difficult to predict how many and when exactly. Look at this years overall weather, their shouldn't be a real shortage of sunny days!

You may want to check my archives for the last 3 years and check the July and April 'Goodbye to' posts, they sum up the month.

Hope this helps.

Hi Oyvind,

No problems at all, April may be the better choice indeed for you for whatever reasons you may have, besides the ones mentioned already.

Especially keeping the wife happy is an important one!
