20th October, 2009

Today's weather;

This is a very late one, this morning I couldn't connect to Google at all (Blogger is part of Google) and hence couldn't update in the morning. It was a blue sky and lovely!

Yesterday saw blue skies and another warm and dry day, although the wind has picked up again. Max temp reached 32.7C

Hi.
Have been reading your blog for a while, to keep updated on the weather.

We are visiting Samui - on Nov 15th.
With your knowledge of the climate, what is your predictions? Would i be suitable for holiday ?(we off course prefer sun, but an occasional shower dosent scare us)
We would like to relax on the beach and do a bit of snorkling?
Is it very windy?

Or will it be better to go to the other side of the peninsula? Phuket, Phi Phi ect.

Hope you can help.
Thx
Jacob

Hi Jacob,

Although there's no guarantee, mid November tends to be a very risky time to visit Samui. Typically there would be a lot of rain and not a lot of sun although I've seen exceptions.

Maybe best to have a look at my archives for November during the last 2 years.

Hi Kerry,

The weather forecast until next week looks really good at the moment. You may be lucky and get plenty of sunshine. Usually, somewhere during November, the rainy season starts and than it's rain on an end and plenty of it, I'm afraid. Right now it looks good though!
