Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 8th November, 2016

Today's weather;

It;s nice and sunny over Koh Samui this morning with some clouds in the sky as well. There may be some rain later today but it should be and remain  mostly sunny. Current temp at 7am is 27C

At Kata on Phuket it's raining non stop this early in the morning and the sky is dark and grey. Current temp at 7am is 25.6C
Today I'm on the boat again, teaching PADI Instructor specialties at the Racha islands and tomorrow I'm off to Koh Samui again, back home.

Modern architecture at an unexpected place, the Guan Yu shrine in Hua Thanon. This used to be a very nice and old shrine, but in recent years has undergone a dramatic upgrade and looks spectacular nowadays. This little part of architecture is rather remarkable but does fit into the overal design

Yesterday saw a nice, fairly sunny and dry day around Koh Samui, a nice treat during the rainy season. Max temp reached 32C

An iconic building at the end of the Chalong pier on Phuket, the Phuket Yacht Control Room with a big radar antenna next to it. The 800 meter long pier is serviced by pink buses, who transfer all customers, divers, snorklers, party revellers (that go on party boats), you name it, up and down the pier, for a fee, usually paid for by the trip organizer. In the evenings the pier is used a lot by runners and joggers

The forecast for the next ten days has changed slightly and now a lot more rain can be expected over that period and fewer sunny days, accompanied by a light wind or breeze. There should be sunny moments as well during this ten day period.
