Today's weather;
It looks gorgeous this morning over Koh Samui with lovely blue skies with just a few isolated clouds in it and no rain in sight for the remainder of the day. Enjoy this rather very unusual November weather since it's about to change very soon. Current temp at 7am is 27C
At Kata on Phuket we also have a lovely blue sky with even less clouds in it and a very warm or hot day seems to be in the making. Here the high season is about to make it's long awaited entry and just a few showers are expected for next week with hopefully plenty of sunshine. Current temp at 7am is 27.3C
Yesterday the current PADI IDC for November - December on Phuket was for the first time at full strength and we're already well on our way to hit the half way mark soonish.
Tomorrow I'm planning to run a charity event race, the Run to Give race at the Banwad Reservoir Dam in Kathu, which is also held onm Koh Samui tomorrow morning at the Wharf, after which I have to go straight to work. Tomorrow's update therefor may be very late.

A picture catching yesterday's mood around Koh Samui perfectly, sunshine with rain in the background, taken at the beach near the Centara Villa Samui in Hua Thanon, at the far South Eastern corner of the island just South of Lamai.
Yesterday saw a strange day with plenty of sunshine and nice, warm weather but there were also some showers and thunderstorms around the island. Truely a mixed bag with a warm max temp of 33C
The swimming pool and breakfast area at the Eastin Yama in Kata on Phuket, beautifully located in the Kata hills, yesterday morning. One of my PADI IDC candidates is staying there and I picked him so he can bring his dive bag over to the dive center training facilities at Kata Big Rock
The forecast is predicting some serious monsoon weather as of mid next week, with pleanty o rain and fairly strong wind, preceded by two wet days, Monday and Tuesday but without the abundance that is expected later next week. Enjoy all the sunshine you can get at the moment since it seems that it will be soon a thing of the past for at least a few days and in the worst case scenario a few weeks. The monsoon seems to be on it's way direction Koh Samui.
