Box jelly fish awareness and prevention presentation at the Imperial Boathouse in Choengmon

Yesterday I hosted a box jelly fish awareness and prevention presentation at the Imperial Boathouse in Choengmon, in conjunction with an EFR course I conducted at the Imperial Boathouse. I added the extra module because of the tragic death of a young German woman on Lamai beach, earlier this month due to a box jelly fish encounter.
The EFR course is a first aid course during which participants learn about CPR or primary care and secondary care, various modules, like AED and Care for Children can be added.
The box jelly fish awareness and prevention presentation is a module I made myself, from the knowledge gathered over years in trying to set up awareness and prevention on Koh Samui.

The EFR course was already planned since a few weeks and due the recent tragic events in Lamai, it made total sense to add this box jelly fish awareness and prevention presentation at the Imperial Boathouse in Choengmon.
The box jelly fish awareness and prevention presentation at the Imperial Boathouse in Choengmon and the EFR course were followed by 6 beach boys and my wife, Khun Tassanee, who helped with the translation from English to Thai whenever it was needed.

It was a good day and I'm very happy that I could include the box jelly fish awareness and prevention presentation at the Imperial Boathouse in Choengmon, giving the beach staff that extra information that may be the difference between life and death when a serious situation develops and they are most likely the first line of defense and they are also most likely the first ones at the scene.

Both the EFR Course with various added modules can be taught by me and I can include the box jelly fish awareness and prevention presentation or conduct this as a separate module. If you're interested for your staff in either one of these courses or presentations, please get in touch with me for more information.
