The big news this morning is that after almost 4 days without electricity around Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, that same electricity has been restored again since 4am this morning.
National TV states that the problem has now been resolved and the power is here to stay!
Koh Samui is nice and sunny this morning and everyone will be delighted knowing that they have electricity again. The air con units, fans and internet connections can be switched on again and water supplies should be restored soon. Current temp at 7am is 24.7C
In Khao Lak it's nice and dry with a thin cloud layer and a current temp at 7am of 23.3C.
Yesterday saw a nice and partly sunny day with a max temp of 32.4C
The current PADI IDC here kicked off yesterday in Khao Lak and it's also the last program for me this year.

Yesterday saw a nice and sunny day around Samui, an unusual sight for this time of the year! Max temp reached 30.3C
The forecast for the next 7 days is a lot more bearable now since electricity seems to have been restored, since it looks hot and warm with plenty of sunshine.
