It's very wet on Samui, right now there's a lull in-between showers but more rain is expected during the day. Current temp at 7am is 24.7C
On Koh Lanta it's dry but cloudy right now and the roads are still wet from last nights rain. Current temp at 7am is 24.5C
Yesterday saw pretty much non stop rain on Samui, varying from hard to just a bit and it was rather stormy at moments during the night with power cuts around the area of our house. Max temp reached 25.2C with about 73mm of rain during all day.
Koh Lanta stayed dry yesterday until 5.30pm and it kept raining on and off all night long. Max temp reached 29.2C with just 30mm of rain.
The overcast and rain is only in the Southern part of Thailand, Bangkok has lovely weather and no rain at all since almost a month!

we are in raining samui right now... maybe you know what is expeceted during the rest of the week? we consider leaving the island because of the bad weather...

Hi Reut,
The forecast looks good after today, but it may change quickly, unfortunately.
All of Southern Thailand is covered in clouds, if you would decide to leave Samui, I recommend going up North and not stay in the South.
