A few clouds hover over Samui but it's mainly a blue sky. Current temp at 7am is in the high twenties Celsius.
Not as cool as May Day.
It looks like the wind direction is about to change this week and Chaweng Beach will be lovely until the wind changes back again, a good 5 to 6 months from now.
Yesterday saw another hot day with a max temp of around 32C

we are due to visit on 15 may for 16 nights , how a things on samui as the uk govt has said not to travel to Thailand !

Samui is just fine, you wouldn't know anything is happening in Bangkok unless you watch TV or read news papers.
You may want to check if your travel insurance is valid under the current UK government guidelines for visiting Thailand.
