It was a mixed bag when I woke up, a near blue to the right and clouds to the left, it seemed that the clouds were taking over but the sun is back in place again. Current temp at 7am is 27.5C.

Hello Camille, big fan of your blog. Been looking at it for a while not. I hope I'm not intruding. If so, my apologize in advance.
I wanted to ask your advice on something, if I may.
My wife and I are bringing her sister's family out to Samui in two weeks (Dec 23). We'll be there over the holidays. Her husband (55) and son (17) sent me an email asking me if I could point them in the right direction when it comes to diving.
Their email says this
One thing that I wanted to research is scuba diving- Matthew and I are all but an open water dive away from being certified, and we should be able to do that on Koh Samui. In my web surfing I found a number of places to go, but no clue about them or how close they are to where we are staying.
We are staying in Laem Sor and transportation is not a problem. And I know that diving will take place on Koh Tao. Just wanted to point them towards a recommended establishment.
