Another update on Chawengs new Pagoda

Another update on Chawengs new Pagoda

There's some good progress again this month. Last month's update saw the completion of the actual Pagoda on top of the complex.

Here's a picture of part of the actual Pagoda on the 'roof' of the whole complex. In the bigger hall, below the Pagoda and in the Pagoda itself, Buddha's foot prints are being constructed.

This picture is being taken inside the actual Pagoda, whilst some workers are completing the out structure of Buddha's footprint. Constructions like this, of Buddha's footprint are a common view in Buddhist Temples throughout Thailand and a lot of the Temples on Samui have a footprint of Buddha on their premises.

In this picture some ornaments are being tacked onto the construction's wall, note the ornament on the right in the background.

Here's a worker preparing a mould for the hand made ornaments. All in all, another nice visit with the usual spectacular views over Chaweng and the airport. Definitely worthwhile visiting.

The entrance is located at the foot of the mountain that leads up to Samui's Q Bar.
