8th December, 2007

Today's weather;

It's a mixed bag this morning, it started out nice and blue, now it's blue with clouds and it looks like some big grey cloud formations are moving in. Current temp st 7 am is 25.9C. I'm not sure if there was rain last night but it is very moist this morning.

Yesterday saw for the first time since three weeks rain again around noon and in the early afternoon, which actually wasn't bad at all, it got rid of all the dust on the road! Unfortunately some of the usual 'problem' roads flooded again due to minor flash floods, but nothing serious.

Hola Camille from a very sunny but cool southern Spain!

We are coming to Koh Samui on Xmas Eve and keeping a close eye on the weather. I came across your blog and found it was the best weather update I could get, many thanks and keep up the good work!

Hi Camille

You’ve certainly put a smile on our faces today……………. We leave for KS on 18 Dec and have had concerns about the weather from the site we are tracking it on – all we get is wind, rain and the % chances of precipitation, no sunshine at all. But you’ve chased away the grey from our heads with your brilliant website.

Season’s greetings to you and see you soon!

Hi Elliott,

Thanks for your comments.

The monsoon is most likely over, although I can't give a guarantee on that, unfortunately.

Over Christmas it's usually very nice on Samui, so I truly hope you'll have a grand stay here.
