Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 9th November, 2016

Today's weather;

There are big pieces of sky blue shaped this morning over Koh Samui and it looks like it will be a nice day over the island today. There are some clouds in the sky and some early morning rain is predicted with the afternoon being dry and sunny again. Current temp at 6.45am is 27C

At Kata on Phuket we have a fairly cloudy sky but there are also some blue patches in the sky. Current temp at 6.45am is 25.6C

After having completed three more good dives and the PADI Specialty Instructor training yesterday at the Racha islands, near Phuket, I will be back on the road, to Koh Samui in a few moments!

Tree worshipping in Soi one in Maenam, the same Soi where the new immigration office is located, however this can only be found if you deeper into the Soi. The Thai community is still
deeply involved in animalism besides the main religious community of Buddhism. Many samples like this can be found all around the island and the whole country as such.

Yesterday saw a fairly nice day with sunshine but also rain at some places, although our North East corner of the island remained dry. Max temp reached 32C

A view of the Chalong pier on Phuket and it's 800 meters length, it's a long straight stretch. During the evenings, when the tourists are gone, the pier is used a lot by runners and joggers to keep in shape, it's car free and quiet

The forecast for the next ten days, what's going to happen? It should be fairly nice and sunny with occasionally some rain, especially this coming Friday and Saturday but after that it may get really sunny and hot! Rather unusual for a November, so we'll see what really happens in due time.

Hi Camille

I see the rain has been slow the past few days is that because you have had so much rain earlier ?

Hi Emma,

Not really, it's rather an unusual sunny break in the rainy season. There will most likely be more rain on it's way, somewhere during this month.

Ok thanks for that! I just hope we get a dry spell next month for my wedding.
Thanks again.
