Hi Camille

I have enjoyed reading your blog. I have been to Thailand a few times now - always in February and the last time we went to Kho Phayam which was lovely. This year am coming in May and am trying decide whether to visit Kho Phayam again - but i fear it may be really wet. What is your opinion - where would you go in May. Looking for the usual - beautiful beaches, fairly chilled. Look forward to your response

Thanks for reading the blog.
During May the Samui archipelago usually has good weather, please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, right hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.

Koh Phayam is more likely to have less good weather but there's no guarantee when the weather is involved!
