A strong wind is blowing over Koh Samui but the sky is almost perfect blue with a current temp at 7am of 27.7C
Wat Mahathat in Nakhon Si Thammarat, where we were yesterday. In the big chedi on the picture Buddha's right foot is kept, which tells you the importance of this temple. Yesterday we were lucky and we could walk around the chedi because they opened it, not an every day occurance
Yesterday saw another hot day both on the mainland and on Koh Samui. Our originally booked 5pm ferry was cancelled and we were put on the 6pm ferry, which was packed to the rafters. However the boat was swaying a little bit and once we got out of the car at home, there was a very strong wind blowing. Max temp reached 35.3C
The forecast has changed drastically overnight as well. A welcome for the locals and Westerners living on Samui and a scare for the visitors seeking sun over the next week. Rain is predicted from Wednesday onward and lots of rain are expected on Saturday 13th, Songkran! Let's see if this prediction holds on.
