Today's weather;
Later than usual because we visited the Kila Amphur or a gathering of the schools of Samui where the students parade all dressed up in fancy clothes. A report to follow later today.
It's partly cloudy with bursts of sunshine and it rained a bit on Chaweng but not in the parts of the island where we were at. Current temp at 1 pm is 32.2C.
Yesterday was a sunny day with a max temp of 33.7C.

Heading to Koh Samui and Phukett next week to do a little diving, and anm thinking I'll be spending a lot of time indoors.. Is there anywhere to dive during the rains?
Also, if it's raining season, why are all the hotels offering their high season rates for August in Samui, Staying at the Chewend Buri and their rates went up massively from July???? Would like to book a dive just the same. We're from Canada..

Most likely the weather on Samui won't be that bad when you're here. If it rains it's most likely just a tropical shower with potentially sunshine before and after the shower.
Samui has high season right now in contrast to Phuket, hence the higher prices.
