Welcome to October 2008
And an interesting October it will be!
It's starting nice enough with plenty of sunshine, that's for sure and that's also very good!
During October, at any time really, the rainy season or the monsoon can start. Last year saw a really bad October, starting from mid October, I can only hope it's going to be better this year around. During 2007 October and November hardly saw any rain at all but if you visit during October, expect some rain.
The rain can vary from a hard downpour for half an hour or so with sunshine at either side of the rain but it can also rain for longer periods and no sunshine in sight. The forecast for the first week look good however and with a bit of luck we get a nice and dry October.
