Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 20th January, 2017

Today's weather;

It's partially cloudy this early in the morning around Koh Samui and it should stay like this for the remainder of the day. Another sunny day is in the making, enjoy the beach or any other activity you're up to today. Current temp at 7am is 27C

Today marks 100 days since the death of King Bhumibol. From today onward, TV stations are allowed to show normal programs and have logos in color.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 20th January, 2017; The Meh Guanim statue at Wat Plai Laem or Wat Laem Suwannaram enjoying the sun again, yesterday afternoon

Yesterday saw a a very nice, warm and dry day around the island with a max temp of 32C
It's a relief to feel the sun being out again and enjoying the warm weather.

The forecast for the next seven days is hard to predict. The last 3 or 4 days were supposed to have rain but the sun broke out instead in a partially cloudy sky. The next seven days have the same profile predicted, cloudy skies with rain showers, so what is it going to be, rain as predicted or sunshine as it was the last couple of days? We will see and find out.

It looks however that the floods of January 2017 are behind us, most roads are dry now and each day the run off and water still standing on roads is becoming less and less.

Hi Martin,

Please keep following this blog and my Samui info and weather blog Facebook page
In contrast to popular believe, I can't predict weather. Which is very unfortunate since if I could, I would be a very wealthy man.
