Today's weather;
Sunny skies have found their way back to Koh Samui and it should stay like that all day long. There are a some clouds over the ocean though. Current temp at 7am is 28C
Today is also Chakri Day (วันจักรี) which commemorates the coronation of Rama I & all the kings in the Chakri dynasty and it is also a public holiday, meaning that banks and government offices will be closed.

On Koh Lanta the current PADI IDC candidates had a lovely day on the boat yesterday and this morning ther eis a thin cloud layer over the two Lanta islands. Current temp at 7am is 24C
The Seatran ferry # 8, the biggest one they have with two car decks, docked in Nathon just over a week ago when I took it for crossing over to the main land. Last week this ferry almost caused an accident or collision near the Donsak pier with a ferry from the Raja ferry company because of a strange maneuver. Lucky for all people on both ferries, nothing happened
Yesterday saw a nice and wrm day around koh Samui with a max temp of 32C
The new bridge connecting the two Koh Lanta's, Noi and Yai. The construction is almost completed and it looks pretty impressive from a distance and more importantly, it will get rid of the long waiting hours for the small ferries between the two islands.
The forecast predicts mostly sunny days for the next ten days with no rain in sight, like a 'real' April on Koh Samui should be.
