The sky over Koh Samui is partially clouded and surprisingly it's sunny. There is however rain expected later today, around noon. Current temp at 7am is 26C
Today is Loy Kratong in Thailand, a big Buddhist celebration and an event that has the whole population involved around the country, floating their 'Kratongs'.
Here in Moalboal in the Philippines, we also have a partially clouded sky here with some nice sunshine. Current temp here at 8am local time 27C

Yesterday saw a rainy day around Koh Samui with some dry moments during the afternoon and in the Plai Laem area there was a scheduled power cut between 9am and 5pm! Max temp reached 31C

The forecast predicts fairly sunny days for the next two days but do expect some small showers and a stormy Saturday with strong wind and lots of rain, to ease down next week with cloudy skies and daily showers.
