It's good to be back home again on Koh Samui, but the weather is not that great. The picture below shows some grey skies. Current temp at 7am is 28.3C
Cloudy skies over Plai Laem this morning
Yesterday saw a nice and sunny day around the island with a max temp of 31.3C
The forecast shows a bit more cloud cover for the next 7 days and the possibility of an occasional tropical shower.

The forecast looks good right now, if you go to my 'blog roll an Links' page, many weather sites are listed there, I always use Windguru.

Please can you be more specific regarding the weather? I will arrive on Koh Samui on Monday 13th May for 5 days. I will then stay on Koh Tao for 7 days until May 24th.
All of the forecasts show overcast clouds and rain. I have looked at TMD but this only shows the weather for the next 7 days.
Can you please advise what you expect the weather to be like? Will it be very cloudy and overcast?

Unfortunately I can't look or see into the future,if I could I would be a very wealthy man.
More than 7 days is the best forecast I get out of the websites I use and they are not even accurate sometimes, so I'm afraid you have to deal with what is currently done by me.
However, you can look back at the stats of the previous 6 recorded years, please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, right hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.

Both are good months to visit Samui with May probably being slightly better.
