Samui is warm! Current temp at 7am is 27.7C
Yesterday saw the last day of the school 'kila' on Samui, where our children attended over two days. It was hot and sunny and yesterday's max temp reached 33.5C
Entering Osan
Osan had a drastic change of weather and it's wet this morning. Current temp is 20C at 9am local time.
Yesterday was hot and sunny though.

Hi Camille, I was wondering if you could give me some advice on the weather during mid to late October. I was on the island last year, (late Novemeber to mid December) so I was there to experince all the rain and boy did it rain.. due to the weather I was unable to do the things I wanted, such as diving.. the ocean was all churned up and tour operators were cancelling everything. I just don't want to come back at that time of year if I am going to get the same type of weather. Thanks in advance Michelle

Thanks for your message and enquiry. October can be tricky but last year had some good days as well, although overall this was not as good a month as the previous three recorded years.
Please have a look at my archives, half way down the page on my Samui info and weather blog, left hand side, they go back a few years. Open a month that you’re interested in and check one of the of the last posts of each month, starting with ‘Goodbye to…………’ this post will tell you the weather conditions for that month.
You can also check each individual post for that month if you wish to.
