Aroy Restaurant in Chaam

Aroy Restaurant in Chaam

During our recent family and work outing to Pattaya we stopped over in Chaam for a night. A couple of years ago, my wife and me stopped over in Hua Hin but we didn't really warm up to Hua Hin and last time we were travelling we just peeked into Chaam, after stayed overnight in Prachuap Kirikhan and we decided to stay in Chaam one day.

Well, that day came last week, we stayed overnight and we enjoyed it.

One of the guests in our hotel, who happened to be also Dutch, recommended Aroy restaurant to us, stating it was well priced and big portions were served. This sounded good so we had a look.

The place is easy to find, coming from the beach road, go to the Narathip road, the main road leading into Chaam and walking or moving away from the beach, it's at the first street to your left about 300 meters into this street on your right hand.

The restaurant is decorated in a nice way with all sorts of clocks and it gives the place a nice feel to it.

It was also full, with a lot of Thai people eating there which is always a good sign. The plates were indeed big with lots of food on them and the prices were very good indeed. If I would live in Chaam I'm sure I would eat there plenty of times. I had a pork chop with potaters and vegetables for 120,-THB, excellent value!

I can definitely recommend Aroy restaurant for it's cosy atmosphere, big servings and real good value!
