Today's weather;
Today is Visakha Bucha day and all official buildings are closed. On Koh Samui the weather is not that great, plenty of overcast and the wind is picking up, as predicted. Current temp at 7am is 28.2C

Yesterday saw a very nice and sunny morning and early afternoon around Koh Samui. In typical fashion, the late afternoon was cloudy, windy and possibly here and there a few drops came down. Max temp reached 33.7C
The forecast shows strong wind and rain, reaching max potential on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday things should start to slow down again. Phuket even looks worse for those days, check in at Jamie's Phuket weather blog for updates.

Hey Camille, too bad about all the bad weather! Do you think there will be sun patches like there were last week, or just rainy the whole time? How much rain do you expect?
Your blog is so great and useful, it's hard to get info that seems accurate on the Samui weather through regular channels. Do you have a weather station or what do you use?

I don't expect i to rain all day long but rather heavy wind gusts and storms.
I use Windguru most for forecasts, I find it fairly reliable and accurate
