Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 21st May, 2011

Today's weather;

A near blue sky rules over Samui this morning and another hot day seems to be in the making. Current temp at 7am is 26.6C

Chaweng Beach yesterday, blue skies and warm, what's keeping you?

Yesterday saw once more a very warm day on Koh Samui with a tiny bit of rain in the evening. Max temp reached 33.3C

There was an underwater beach clean at Chaweng Beach yesterday in which I participated, look here for an update.

Hi Camille,

I posted on your blog a week or so ago and I guess it got lost so as suggested by you, I'm re-posting again.

I was in Koh Samui at the end of April for 5 days and really enjoyed my time there. I think I still have some post holiday blues cause I can't stop thinking about KS - it's really unlike me.

I really like the laid back style in KS. I would like to come back soon again but not sure when is the best time. And was wondering if there are some summer posts for teaching English at KS. I usually get my summers off so I could sort of make it as an excuse to stay a little longer in KS. Do you think it's possible?

Also, reading from your blog and reminicsing my experience snorkelling last time, I'm interested to know more about diving and life down under the sea!!

Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Amy,

Thanks for re-posting! Good to know that you enjoyed Samui so much!

The best time would be around August again but all leading up to August from now and September and possibly October should also be nice. November usually sees the rainy season and is best avoided. Mid December is nice again.

Not too sure about teaching English here, you would need a work permit and they're not that easy to come by.

Regarding the diving, please send me an email and I will send you some more information.

Hope this helps for now.
