Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 9th September, 2013

Today's weather;

On Koh Samui it's raining this morning and here on Koh Phangan it's very cloudy and grey. Current temp at 7am is 25.5C

The current PADI IDC on Koh Phangan is about to finish today and tomorrow we will head over to Koh Tao for the PADI IE. Come Thursday I should be back home again on Samui.

Yesterday saw a fairly cloudy morning with some very hard rain between 11am and 1pm but blue skies again afterwards. Max temp reached 31C

The forecast has changed a bit, the blue skies seem now to be a bit more distant and some clouds, wind and rain may be expected for the bext couple of days and maybe some more blue in the sky towards the weekend.

Koh Samui, Thailand daily weather update; 8th September, 2013

Today's weather;

On Koh Samui it's fairly sunny but here on Koh Phangan it's cloudy with just very few small blue spots. Current temp at 7am is 26.8C

Yesterday we had for the second during my current stay dinner at my fave Italian restaurant (almost for all of Thailand) in Chaloklum at Caffe della moca. Good company and good food.

Yesterday was a fairly cloudy day around Phangan, with milky cloud layers but also the sun breaking through at times. Samui was sunnier. Max temp reached 32,5C

I did wake up last night a few times because a massive and very loud thunder passing over although I don't think it rained.

The forecast for the next 7 day shows a bit more overcast but still plenty of sunshine and the occasional tropical shower may be around.

Today's weather;

Koh Samui and Koh Phangan are fairly cloudy this morning, on Koh Phangan there are even some dark clouds looming over the mountains. Current temp at 7am is 26.9C

Yesterday saw fairly nice and sunny days on both islands but during the evening there was some rain again on Koh Phangan. Max temp reached 34.2C

The forecast predicts some heavy clouds and rain for tomorrow and Monday and it should clear up as of Tuesday for a few days but come Thursday more cloudy days with some showers can be expected.

Today's weather;

Koh Samui has blue skies to show for this morning but on Koh Phangan over land it's very cloudy and over the ocean there are a few blue spots. Current temp at 7am is 27.2C

Yesterday saw plenty of sunshine and during the early evening and night some showers. Max temp reached 34.5C

The forecast still predicts overcast until and including the weekend but after the weekend we should have very blue skies for a few days.A tropical shower is also in the cards at any given moment!

Today's weather;

The sky over Koh Samui is blue whilst on Koh Phangan there are  few more clouds. Current temp at 7am is 27.5C

With the current PADI IDC here on Koh Phangan we hit the halfway mark today.

Yesterday saw a nice and warm day with a few clouds here and there but with enough sunshine to keep the sun lovers happy. Yesterday evening there was a quick shower. Max temp reached 32.8C

The forecast predicts fairly cloudy days until the weekend and early next week it should clear up and have very blue skies. Towards the end of next week it may cloud up again and some rain may come down.

Koh Samui enjoys a blue sky and around Koh Phangan, where the PADI IDC is in full swing by now, over the ocean it's blue but more inland there are plenty of clouds. Current temp at 7am is 27C

Over the ocean it's blue but over land it's a bit cloudy on Koh Phangan. Around Koh Samui blue skies are ruling! Current temp at 7am is 26C

Yesterday saw a bit of a mixed bag, a dry day with some clouds in the sky and the moments when the sun was out and about it was immediately very warm. It looks like during the night there may have been some rain. Max temp reached 31.3C

The forecast for the next 7 days is looking good, fairly sunny days are ahead of us with an occasional tropical shower always being an option.

On Koh Samui and Koh Phangan, where yesterday a PADI IDC started, it's fairly cloudy with a couple of blue spots in the sky. Current temp at 7am is 25.8C

Yesterday saw a a nice and sunny day but around midnight we had very hard rain for about an hour on Koh Phangan. Max temp reached 31.8C

The forecast predicts nice and fairly sunny days for the next 7 days to come with the odd chance of a tropical shower.

Welcome to September 2013

A new month started already, September, the 2013 version.

Typically the nice and laid back weather from August carries over into September. You can expect mainly sunny and dry days although tropical showers are common as well, but they should not last any longer than an hour at most.

For the first half of the month, I will be on Koh Phangan, teaching a PADI IDC until 9th September, followed by two nights on Koh Tao for a PADI IE. The second half of the month I should be back on Koh Samui again.

An almost near blue sky is showing off above Koh Samui and Koh Phangan. Today I will start a PADI IDC on Koh Phangan, so the next 9 days my updates will come from here. Current temp at 7am is 26.5C

Yesterday started out very nice with a blue sky, but during the day clouds crept in. There was still enough sunshine for the sun lovers though. Max temp reached 33.7C

The forecast for the next 7 days predicts nice and mostly sunny days with an odd chance for a tropical shower.
