Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 8th January – 14th January, 2018

Another Sunday morning and time for the Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 8th January – 14th January, 2018. This morning there's a stiff breeze and it's mostly cloudy but there are also a few blue spots and the sun is working hard to work its magic.Current temperature at 7.30am is 25.2C

On Koh Lanta in the province of Krabi, where I have just completed the current PADI IDC, it's also cloudy with a current temperature of 25C

Come Thursday I should be back home on Koh Samui again and it looks like I will be there for a month before I hit the road again.

Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 8th January – 14th January, 2018; A swing on a fairly isolated beach in the South on Koh Samui, in the Phang Ka area. Very enjoyable and relaxing.

Last week saw a fair amount of rain and especially Thursday saw plenty of rain combined with a lot of flash flooding. Only three days stayed dry with the sun peeping out. Maximum temperatures ranged from 28 to 31C

Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 8th January – 14th January, 2018; These kind of places I visit for my work. This is part of Koh Haa, a very popular dive location from Koh Lanta in the province of Krabi.

The forecast for next week is looking good. There should be hardly any rain until Friday. Next Saturday may see a fair amount of rain again. Hopefully all these rainy days will soon be behind us and we can enjoy some more sunshine again.

Please do 'like' my Koh Samui blog Facebook page and enjoy the beaches around the island or in front of your hotel or resort and get some well deserved rest and a break. If you're done resting or need something else to do, there's plenty of things on offer on and around Koh Samui, you can go snorkeling or diving or take a dive course. You can also enjoy some of the trips I recommend, like a half day gourmet lunch and snorkeling trip at the Southern part of Koh Samui or a photography trip where you get to see the most photo genetic spots on the island or go for a drinks tasting tour if you like a tipple or two.
