Today's weather;
A thin cloud layer is being shredded by the early morning sun over Koh Samui and it looks like we may have a sunny day at our hands but with a strong wind. Current temp at 7am is 29C
Seven different kinds of Buddha, actually eight, for each day of the week to make merit at a temple. a very common sight in Thailand. This picture is taken at the new big sitting monk statue on a boat at Wat Bophud
Yesterday saw a dry, mixed bag kind of day, with plenty of sunny moments but also cloudy skies at times, packaged with all day long a fairly strong wind. Max temp reached 34C again, just like the day before.
The forecast is slightly changing, it looks that eventually the cloudy and windy stretch that seemed to be dominating this August 2016 is about to leave slowly, very slowly that is. Another three days of cloudy and windy skies are ours but Saturday the wind is about to recede, however accompanied by rain. From Sunday onward the clouds should start to break and the wind should drop, with a few exceptions possible. Some tropical showers may pop up later next week but in general the weather is going to look a lot better after this weekend.
