Box Jelly fish awareness presentation at Panyadee the British school in Samui
Yesterday I found myself back doing a Box Jelly fish awareness presentation at Panyadee the British school in Samui for their primary and secondary school students.
Through a mutual friend of the head of the primary school and myself, a contact was established and a date was set for this Box Jelly fish awareness presentation at Panyadee the British school in Samui.
Part of the primary school students that attended the presentation, in total there were approximately 100 of them
Just like the Panyadee school is growing, tourism around the island is growing as well, it almost goes hand in hand and the importance of being aware about the box jelly fish cases and potential impact around the Samui archipelago is part of this.
Students of the secondary school at the auditorium
Around 100 students of the primary school and some 80 students of the secondary school participated in the Box Jelly fish awareness presentation at Panyadee the British school in Samui.
The groups were very attentive, with the primary school students really enjoying the videos during the presentation and the secondary school students having an over all better understanding of the issue at hand.
Both groups had some good questions after the presentation and it was a great and enjoyable experience for me, and looking at the feedback, the students seemed to have enjoyed the presentation as well and hopefully learned a few things about being aware of box jelly fish around Koh Samui and how to prevent box jelly fish sting situations and be pro active in case they witness a person being stung by a box jelly fish.
Thanks very much to Panyadee the British school in Samui for inviting me, I'm already looking forward to a next time!
