Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 3rd February
– 9th February 2020
Sunday morning on the ferry to the mainland and time for the Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update; 3rd February – 9th February 2020. We're on our way to Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia. For the first time I will be visiting this city. My wife and our youngest daughter are also in the travel party. On Tuesday I will visit a mandatory PADI update.
Cheap flights with Air Asia from Surat Thani make travelling appealing. Hence, we're on the ferry on our way to Surat Thani airport.
Under a partially clouded sky we're leaving Koh Samui. Current temperature at 8.30am is 27C and rising.

The Hainan temple in Nathon. After all these years living on Koh Samui and visiting Nathon, this is the first time I visit this temple. A small but very enjoyable Chinese temple well worth a visit. The statue has a resemblance to the big statue at the Hainan temple in Hua Thanon.
Last week was a nice week. Sunny to partially clouded skies, not a single drop of rain and warm to fairly warm at times. Maximum temperatures reached 31C, although it felt most of the time a lot warmer. The minimum temperature reached 21C during the night time.
The coming week looks good. The wind should pick up on Tuesday and Wednesday. Not too much cloud cover and hardly if any rain at all. Enjoy your time on Koh Samui.
It's quiet on the island, the corona virus is having an impact. The Chinese New Year has finished yesterday, but there are hardly any Chinese tourists left on the island.
Live goes on however, and so far Samui is virus free!
Please do 'like' my Koh Samui blog Facebook page and enjoy the beaches around the island or in front of your hotel or resort and get some well deserved rest and a break.
If you're done resting or need something else to do, there's plenty of things on offer on and around Koh Samui, you can go snorkeling or diving or take a dive course.
Join me in a private dive trip with yours sincerely!
You may also opt for a very special dinner experience at The Thai Experience. Behind closed doors, reservation only and a very enjoyable and well worthwhile way of spending an evening on Samui. Authentic Thai food and a great atmosphere. Can highly recommend this experience.
Contact me for more detailed information on any of the options mentioned.
