Welcome to March 2019

Welcome to March 2019

Second day of this month and here we are with a warm Welcome to March 2019.

March is usually a good month to visit Koh Samui and it's neighboring islands. The nice and kind weather of February typically continues. Plenty of sunshine, blue skies or partially clouded skies should be ours during a typical March on Samui. The best part is that there's still hardly any rain during a March around the Samui archipelago.
We need to go back to 2011 before we saw a rainy March, a rather untypical occurrence.

We just arrived in Surat Thani for the weekend, where I will participate in a half marathon event tomorrow morning.

Welcome to March 2019

Welcome to March 2019; The Meh Guan Ihm statue at Wat Plai Laem. Always a great temple to visit and I consider myself lucky to be living around the corner of this temple.

Enjoy this March on and around Koh Samui. Go out and about and have a look at the surprises that Koh Samui has to offer.

Please do 'like' my Koh Samui blog Facebook page and enjoy the beaches around the island or in front of your hotel or resort and get some well deserved rest and a break.

If you're done resting or need something else to do, there's plenty of things on offer on and around Koh Samui, you can go snorkeling or diving or take a dive course.

You can also enjoy some of the trips I recommend, like a half day gourmet lunch and snorkeling trip at the Southern part of Koh Samui or a photography trip where you get to see the most photo genetic spots on the island or go for a drinks tasting tour if you like a tipple or two.

You may also opt for a very special dinner experience at The Thai Experience. Behind closed doors, reservation only and a very enjoyable and well worthwhile way of spending an evening on Samui. Authentic Thai food and a great atmosphere. Can highly recommend this experience.

Contact me for more detailed information on any of the options mentioned.
