Koh Samui, Thailand weekly
weather update;18th March 2019 – 24th March 2019
Sunday morning and time for the Koh Samui, Thailand weekly weather update;18th March 2019 – 24th March 2019. The long run has to wait until the end of the day, since I started teaching a PADI IDC today. You can find me in Khao Lak on Thailand's West coast.
It's partially cloudy today with a current temperature of 32C at 11am. It's going to get warmer, or hotter today! It feels already a lot warmer!
Here in Khao Lak it's very similar, 32C at 11am under a partially cloudy sky.

The Namuang waterfall. Always worth a visit, although now it hasn't rained for six weeks. The water cascading down is not a lot at the moment. It's great to swim in the pond though.
Lo and behold, last week we actually had some rain! Monday saw a cloudy and wet day. What a relief it was. The fun didn't last too long though and the rest of the week was a steamer again.
Maximum temperatures reached 35C and the lowest temperature measured last week was 24C. That must have been very early in the day.

Back in Khao Lak and that means a picture of the current state of the Rua 817. A wall is being build around the stranded boat. The tsunami memorial is still a very popular location in Khao Lak.
Next week should see some partially cloudy skies. There is a light chance of an occasional, tropical shower as well. Temperatures are rising gradually and we're closing in on April, the hottest month of the year.
Enjoy your time on the island and do go out and about. Explore, enjoy and see what Koh Samui has to offer.
Please do 'like' my Koh Samui blog Facebook page and enjoy the beaches around the island or in front of your hotel or resort and get some well deserved rest and a break.
If you're done resting or need something else to do, there's plenty of things on offer on and around Koh Samui, you can go snorkeling or diving or take a dive course.
You can also enjoy some of the trips I recommend, like a half day gourmet lunch and snorkeling trip at the Southern part of Koh Samui or a photography trip where you get to see the most photo genetic spots on the island or go for a drinks tasting tour if you like a tipple or two.
You may also opt for a very special dinner experience at The Thai Experience. Behind closed doors, reservation only and a very enjoyable and well worthwhile way of spending an evening on Samui. Authentic Thai food and a great atmosphere. Can highly recommend this experience.
Contact me for more detailed information on any of the options mentioned.
